Is your child residing with your ex, a grandparent, or another guardian all or most of the time? Here is a forum just for you - mums with little or no custody or visitation.

Mothers who are not primary caregivers

Hi everyone,

I am Psychology honours student currently doing my thesis on non-custodial mothers, from a strengths perspective.

I am looking for voluntary non-custodial mothers (mums who are not primary caregivers by choice) to share their stories, who:
- Have been NCMs for a minimum of 6 months
- Have children under 18 years old
- Are living in Australia

I want to emphasise that this is from a strengths perspective and will be a safe and supportive environment to share your stories. This is NOT about judgment or guilt. It is my hope that this research will provide insight into various experiences of motherhood, and inform support for those in a similar situation.

If you are interested in sharing your story, please contact me using the details below. Additionally, please feel free to share if you know anyone who may be interested.

Non custodial mothers needed :)

Hi everyone,

Thanks to those who have volunteered to participate in my research. We are still looking for another six mothers to share their stories, so our research can go ahead.

This is a such an important opportunity for non custodial mothers to share their perspectives, and we really need your participation to make this happen.

If you can spare an hour of your time it would be so much appreciated. Participation will be completely confidential.
